Light Liquid Separatros
The light liquid separator is a product made of polyester (GRP) with the application of cleaning water polluted with floating liquids such as motor oil, gas, oil, etc. GRP separators from our products line conform to all the requirements of the European standard EN 858. The separators are manufactured from unsaturated polyester resins reinforced with fibreglass (GRP) and accordingly one needs to bear in mind that GRP is a lightweight material with exceptional mechanical and physical properties and can withstand major loads. The resins used in the production process yield corrosion resistance within a wide span of pH values and accordingly, the separators may conform to the most diverse application conditions. Along with these benefits, the fibreglass composites (GRP) technology enables a successful comparison of polyester products with traditional products based on the price-performance ratio. This mostly reflects in the maintenance costs as the separators made of GRP require minimum costs. Even though the main separator vessel (i.e. tank) is made of GRP, the connections on the separators (inlet/outlet) can be made of either GRP or other materials as per the customer's request, such as PVC or PE.
PROPERTIES
GRP separators belong to Class 1 as per the EN858 standard, with a coalescing filter and an automatic closure device. Such separators achieve the concentration of oil in the outlet of less than 5 mg/l under the conditions prescribed by the EN 858 standard.
